LEAVING OUR FATHER'S HEBRAIC WAYS, EMBRACING PAGANISM

In the Garden of Eden, the Father revealed His Ways to Adam and Eve although the enemy came in and cunningly deceived Eve by speaking doubt leading her to turn from the Father's Ways. When we listen to a lie, we tum from Truth and go our own way.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND 

In 312 C.E. Flavius Valerius Constantinian, more popularly known as Constantine the Great, became the western Emperor of Rome and in 324 C.E. the sole Emperor of Rome. Constantine is regarded as the first Christian Emperor in Rome, often referred to as the first Pope although there is much criticism surrounding this idea due to his continued practice of pagan customs. Nonetheless, Constantine declared Christianity the official religion of Rome. In 325 C.E. Constantine convened the Council of Nicaea with some 318 ruling bishops, none of whom were of Jewish descent. This was a historic watershed moment as it would formalize Christianity, align Church with State and finally bring separation from the Jews.
