SCRIPTURAL POSITION
CORRECTION: CALL TO REPENT
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot.
Because you are lukewarm in the way and neither hot nor cold, I am going to spew you out of my mouth. Because you say, "I am rich and I have become wealthy and I
do not need anything," but you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and
poor and blind and naked ... Rev 3:15-17
People Ruling – There’s Too Much Anti-Semitism. How Did This Happen? And What About Hitler?
CHRISTIAN ANTI-SEMITISM FUELED THE HOLOCAUST
The greatest blight on the 20th century, the Laodicean Age, was the Holocaust and the greatest blight on the Church is our contribution to it and our present-day apostasy.
OVERCOMER'S REWARD
The one who overcomes, I will give him permission to sit with Me on My throne, as I
also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne Rev 3:21
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
The 20th century marked new measures for the Ekklesia, with the primary aim being evangelism. Missions to the Nations were established amidst the emergence of diverse doctrines and philosophies. At the end of the 19" century, the influential Catholic Church made a proclamation from the Vatican that the Pope is infallible, and the pendulum of
Christian thought swung to a more liberal view. By the 1920s, Hitler formed the Nazi party.
Though outwardly the believers of the Laodicean Age appeared strong, prosperous and in
need of nothing, Messiah finds nothing commendable; rather His strong rebuke is forthright and alarming. He describes them as grossly indifferent to their true condition: lukewarm, wretched, pitiable, poor, blind and naked. Rev 3:15-16. This rebuke still holds true today in the Ekklesia as we continue in the Laodicean Age. May we be found faithful in the time that remains.
The Ante-Nicene, Nicene and Post-Nicene Gentile Church Fathers’ antinomian, anti-
Semitic apologetics were preached weekly to illiterate masses who lacked Biblical text or knowledge of the Scriptures. These messages over centuries of time dispersed a worldwide hatred for the Jewish people, a hatred that resulted in the most vile criminal acts recorded in history The Church sentenced Jewish men, women and children to expulsion from their homelands, overcrowded ghettos, gave oversight to burnings at stakes and in synagogues filled with Jews begging for their lives, and finally herded them to the death camps where they suffered great persecution, unquenchable thirst and starvation and finally death in the gas chambers. Joseph Telushkin and Dennis Prager in Why the Jews? state, "Christianity did not create the Holocaust; indeed, Nazism was anti-Christian, but it made it possible.
Without (the centuries of) Christian anti-Semitism, the Holocaust would have been inconceivable."1
"The relationship between Nazism and Protestantism. especially the German Lutheran Church, was complex. Though the majority of Protestant church leaders in Germany
supported the Nazis’ growing anti-Jewish activities … “2

ANTI-SEMITIC ROOTS SPREAD TO LAODICEAN CHURCH AGE
- 1903 Protocols of the Elders of Zion Published in Russia This is the most notoriously known deceitful writing of Jewish anti-Semitism of the 20th century. According to this
fabricated document, a group of Jews came together with plans to overtake the world through political and financial domination. It was distributed throughout the nations in multiple languages. In the United States alone, 500,000 copies were circulated, financed and published by Henry Ford of Ford Motor Company, awarding Ford the "Grand Cross of the German Eagle" by the Nazi regime. In Germany, the Nazis used this forgery as propaganda against the Jews, assigning it to German teachers to be read to students. And in England, in a single year five editions sold out. Today this anti-Semitic fabricated text is still available in many languages, in print and online, supported by some as genuine.
"Thousands, perhaps even tens of thousands, of Jews have died because of this infamous forgery. From the early 20th century to the present day, ultranationalist political groups worldwide have reprinted and distributed the fictitious Protocols to defend and perpetuate their anti-Semitic campaigns. Today's resurgence of anti-Semitism in many parts of the world has again propelled the use of the Protocols to spread hate."1
- 1911 Russia Blood Libel Trial in Kiev: accusation of Jews using the blood of Christians in religious rituals; especially Passover.
- 1915 World War I prompts expulsion of 250,000 Jews from Western Russia.
- 1917 Bolshevik Revolution results in pogroms, organized massacres of the Jewish population, the Hebrew language banned and Judaism suppressed.
