SCRIPTURAL POSITION

I hold this against you, that you have abandoned your first love. Rev 2:5

CORRECTION: CALL TO REPENT

If a sin/rebuke is not repented of, it carries forward until it is addressed sufficiently to remove the accusation and cleanse/free the guilty one(s). Since Rev 2:4 was not repented of, the correction was carried forward.

BROTHERLY LOVE EXPRESSES OUR FATHER'S WAYS

Age of Enlightenment - man reasoning outside of the Father's Truth. 'Have the courage to use your own understanding,” was therefore the motto of the enlightenment.1

OVERCOMER'S REWARD

The one who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the Temple of ADONAI. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of ADONAI and the name of the city of ADONAI, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from ADONAI out of heaven and My own new name. Rev 3:12

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

In the early 1600s, a movement known as the Age of Reason or Enlightenment emerged, birthing secret societies such as the Freemasons. Much of this thinking seeped into the Church causing Christians to reposition their faith along rational and deistical lines, still believing in a God who created all things, yet denying any supernatural intervention. This

trend augmented the practice of spiritualizing and allegorizing the Scriptures.

  • 1750 Frederick II, The Great (“hero genius” according to Hitler) issued a document on general privileges and regulation for Jews. They had a choice to either abstain from marriage or leave Berlin.
  • 1752 Holy Roman Emperor Joseph Il abolishes most of the persecutions against the Jews on condition that Yiddish and Hebrew are eliminated from public records and judicial autonomy is

annulled. Judaism is branded ‘quintessence of foolishness and nonsense.’

Herzl predicted the Jews would be back in "the Land" of Palestine "within 50 years" and in 1947, exactly fifty years later, the United Nations passed the "Resolution for The Partition of Palestine." Out of the suffering of the Dreyfus family came the State of Israel on May 14, 1948.
