THE HEART OF TESHUVAH
Teshuvah is Hebrew for Return / Repent. Learning our Hebraic Roots reveals more of our Father's Ways.
Marilyn Griffin • Founder MNL
From infancy, Marilyn’s mother taught her Scripture. It prepared her heart for an early childhood encounter, in Jewish terms, an Achrita Hayamim, End of Days experience. At age 17, the Spirit issued an undisclosed Call. Twenty-two years later He quickened that dormant Call. The Spirit’s zeal birthed intense personal and corporate prayer with fasting. After five years Ministries of New Life went public May 2, 1984. The Spirit orchestrated each MNL milestone. On May 7, 1987 He assembled pastors for the first Citywide Prayer Movement gathering. Alongside the CPM He commissioned MNL to lead twenty citywide repentance services impacting the spiritual landscape of Kansas City and beyond.
Dr. Itzhak Shapira • Ahavat Ammi Ministries
Tzahi Itzhak Shapira was born and raised in a traditional Sephardic Jewish home in Israel. After years of studying Rabbinic Jewish texts, he found the Messiah within the Hebrew writings.
He serves as the Shaliach Tzibbur (Lead Teacher) of Yeshivat Shuvu (Largest Global Messianic School of Torah) teaching both Jews and Gentiles. Dr. Shapira is the senior founder of Ahavat Ammi Ministries or “For the Love of my People”, an international Jewish organization founded on the 13 attributes of love and mercy towards Elohim’s chosen people, focusing on reconciliation between Jews and Yeshua. In order to achieve this and to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to the Jew first, the fullness of the Gentiles must take place. Therefore it is the ministry’s great desire and joy to see the restoration of the nations back to their Jewish roots.
